yPolitics is recruiting a US editor to manage and edit all articles on the United States.
Our editors are the backbone of our operation and play a vital role in making sure everything goes smoothly.
We expect the individuals to take up the role for a minimum of 1 academic year.
Role:
- Being an important contact point for our writers.
- Editing all US articles and clarifying any issues with writers.
- Uploading articles to our website software, so they can be published by the Editor in Chief.
- You would also be a part of the senior leadership of yPolitics, contributing to the overall direction of the company.
If the workload becomes too much, we can look at recruiting another editor to assist (especially around exams)
Eligibility:
- Current university student (in some instances we will accept recent grads)
- Detail oriented and good eye for errors/mistakes!
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for politics and journalism
